WrestleMania X8 – Our match followed the epic Rock vs Hogan bout. The greatest thing ever was getting a pat on the back and a few words of encouragement from two of the most iconic stars of our business. It made me walk through those curtains with the intention to deliver a performance to remember.

WrestleMania X8 in Toronto at the SkyDome was a big moment for me for so many reasons. It was my first WrestleMania appearance as a competitor, and I had only a few months earlier captured the Women's Championship for the first time, so not only was it a privilege just to be on the card, but to be competing in a Women's Championship Match was a dream come true. To make it even more special, the match was in my hometown, so my family and friends were all there. At that time, I was involved in an intense feud with Jazz and it allowed me to define myself as a competitor. Throw Lita, my biggest rival, into the mix, and that just took the bout to a whole other level.
