WWE Hall of Fame 2013 inductee
WWE's Hall is about to add some Stratusfaction.

Trish Stratus was officially announced as the third inductee into this year's Hall of Fame class. For 7 years, Stratus dominated the women's division, redefined WWE Diva and blazed new trails for young women in sports entertainment. She will be remembered as the most recognized and decorated Diva in history when the WWE's youngest inductee takes her place alongside wrestling's greats in April.

Trish Stratus – an internationally known fitness model began her WWE career in March 2000 when she appeared on WWE television and formed the tag team of T&A: Test & Albert, whom she managed for nearly a year. After the team split, fans started to get a glimpse of Trish's wrestling training in action during her storyline with Stephanie McMahon. Their feud culminated to a memorable passionate fueled match. In 2001, Trish begin focusing on more in-ring action – fans got a chance to watch her grow and evolve as a performer each week. Her hard work would pay off when in November of 2001 Stratus surprised the wrestling world and became WWE Women's Champion for the very first time. She would then lead a group of women and create memorable moments during what was dubbed 'The Golden Era'. Trish raised the bar and changed the way women's wrestling was perceived while competing with the likes of Lita, Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria and Mickie James. Trish took her final bow in Toronto when she wrestled her final match and became a record breaking seven-time champion. Since retiring, Trish has made several appearances back on WWE television, including taking part in a main event tag team match with partner John Cena to face Beth Phoenix & Santino and teaming with Stone Cold Steve Austin in USA Network's Tough Enough. Fans last saw Stratus in action when she teamed with Jersey Shore's Snooki at WrestleMania

Once Stratus retired she focused on her passion for health and fitness and parlayed her success into a recognized lifestyle brand. Stratusphere was officially launched in 2008 with the opening of her yoga studio – the largest in Canada. Stratusphere Living, a yoga fitness product line created by Trish was launched nationally to retailers in 2011 with the release of her first workout DVD Stratusphere Yoga all of which reflect her core philosophy of achieving wellness through balanced living. Trish made her feature film debut last year starring in the action movie Bounty Hunters. 2012 was perhaps Trish's biggest year as an entrepreneur, while the success of her studio continues so does the expansion of her brand as a second phase of products were released nationally. As well, the second DVD in the Stratusphere series was released last November – Stratusphere Yoga for Men which features MLB legend Joe Carter. Recently, Trish announced a partnership with Liquid Nutrition, where she joins athletes such as Steve Nash and Matt Ryan as equity partners in the functional beverage brand. Always the covergirl, Trish continues to appear in magazines, with a current cover count of 94 covers. Most recent, New Balance revealed Trish as their fitness brand ambassador. Her winter campaign for the Minimus shoe can be seen here.
