Easter Seals Trish has been a feature sports superstar at the dinner, and has assisted in promoting the charity. She says; "I think it is wonderful that so many sports stars participate in this event, but the real stars of the evening are the Easter Seals Provincial Ambassadors, who are Easter Seals kids that are chosen to represent the organization for the year. It is truly inspiring to meet these kids and with the help of the help of the organization, see how much they can accomplish". | Dinner photos » Relay photos » Dinner video » 2010 Relay video »

The Conn Smythe dinner is one of Canada's most prestigious and successful sports dinners. For more than 80 years, Easter Seals has raised over four million dollars for children and young adults with physical disabilities and has assisted children, youths and young adults in Ontario with physical disabilities by funding disability solutions though financial assistance, summer camps, the Recreations Choices funding program, research, advocacy, and public and consumer education. The Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay is Canada's "Party with a Purpose". It gathers over 600 participants in an effort to raise much-needed funds for children and youths with physical disabilities. This high-spirited adventure takes place over 24 hours and has teams begin with a yoga stretching session with Trish Stratus and Team Stratusphere and then take turns walking or running the lakeshore relay course, compete in sports, enjoy entertainment, gourmet food and beer garden and party all night with friends! Since the event began, over $7.5 million has been raised from the Ontario events. For more information: www.easterseals.org www.24hourrelay.org |
