Several times in the match, it looked as Trish was seconds away from kissing the women's title good-bye but Mickie James was by her side everytime protecting her idol from that happening. After 3 elimations, remained Trish, Mickie & Victoria. The next elimation was a big surprise as Mickie sacrificed herself while eliminating Victoria that resulted in Trish retaining the title.

Trish was set to give her thoughts in a post-match interview but Mickie did not let Trish get a word in as she continued to praise her idol.
