Trish wants you to vote for her million dollar idea
When The Play Exchange aired on CBC, we saw a passionate Trish pitch an idea Ophea came up with as part of a national challenge asking how to get Canadians active and healthy. Trish is an advocate for Healthy Schools: Putting Students First, an approach that empowers schools to implement activities that will make their communities healthier. Ophea believes the secret to making kids healthier does not exist in a standard program; it requires helping kids take control of their well-being.
The voting has now been turned over to Canada. Trish is asking her Canadian Stratuspherians for their vote for Healthy Schools. If Ophea wins, they will receive funding of up to a $1 million from the Government of Canada to launch their idea. Voting closes January 16th and individuals can vote up to three times, everyday until January 16th.
