Trish cast as female lead in new action movie
TrishStratus.com is excited to announce that Trish Stratus has signed on to play the female lead in the upcoming action thriller from Hackybox Pictures, Gridlocked.
Stratus will play a member of a SWAT team alongside Prison Break's Dominic Purcell who plays a former SWAT leader. The police chief is played by Danny Glover.
Filming begun July 7th in Toronto with other cast members Vinnie Jones and Stephen Lang.
Another addition announced today for the ensemble cast is Saul Rubinek.
When asked about being the only female on the project, Trish had this to say, "It's not the first time I have to be a part of the boys club! And, it's also not the first time I'll be called on to kick some butt! In all seriousness, I'm so excited about this opportunity, especially to be working alongside such terrific actors."
In Gridlocked, a former SWAT leader who is being followed by an arrogant movie star, must organize the surviving members of a training facility against a team of mercenaries who have seized the compound in an attempt to access valuables held within.
