Excess Trish

Better fasten your seat belts!

Trish Stratus is going to be beaming into your home once a week on TNN.

Trish -- along with "Coach" Jonathan Coachman -- will be co-hosting the World Wrestling Federation's newest program, "WWF Excess," which will air each Saturday from 10 p.m. to midnight on TNN. The live show will feature interaction between the superstars and fans who will be able to call and e-mail the program.

For Saturday's debut episode, Triple H will guest star.

This all comes on the heels of Trish's recent successful appearance on Howard Stern's radio program.

"I'm excited about doing this show, I can highlight my personality a little without always being in character," says Stratus. "I'm also looking forward to the style of the show which will allow me to interact with the fans."

This TV break couldn't have come at a better time since Trish recently found out she had received the kind of break all athletes fear. X-rays revealed that Stratus had a bone chip in the joint where her leg meets her ankle -- which is the main weight-bearing joint of the leg. Doctors told her they'd have to screw the chip back to the ankle, but when they performed surgery on Aug. 2, they determined that the chip was small enough that they could just remove it. But don't worry Trish says nothing will stop her from meeting her fans on WWF Express.

"I'm feeling tons better then I was last week," says Trish. "But it's no problem they would have to break both my legs to keep me from appearing on this show. I really love the way they've set things up. I'm really looking forward to it!"
