Survivor Series Results: Trish Retains In Detroit
For months, Melina has claimed to be the dominant Diva in the WWE. At Survivor Series, it was time to back those claims as she took on her biggest challenge, Trish Stratus - for the Women's Championship.
MNM was obviously a concern, and that couldn't be more felt then tonight. However, Trish had some back-up of her own, Mickie James and 16,000 fans in Detroit chanting her on. She was all business from the time she came out until the end of the match. At one point, she risked her own body by taking it to the air - taking out MNM (who later was ejected from ringside).
The closing moments came when Trish was finally able to deliver her Stratusfaction - top-rope style - to retain her title in Detroit.
