Celebrity judges Trish Stratus, Spencer Rice and Kenny Robinson to crown Canada's freshest new comedian during July 1st finale
Jun 21, 2011 /CNW/ – Bite TV is pleased to announce the star-studded series finale to its new hit series Stand Up & Bite Me. Comedy superstar Colin Mochrie joins series host Jason Blanchard for the Canada Day finale, showcasing the eight finalists of the nation-wide contest. After having fought their way through the rounds, they'll get their shot at the grand prize by impressing a trio of celebrity judges: Stand up veteran Kenny Robinson, Trish Stratus, host of Travel + Escape TV series Stratusphere/former WWE wrestler and Spencer Rice, Comedian and star of Single White Spenny and Kenny vs. Spenny.
In this Bite TV original series, 32 of the country's funniest comedians perform their most killer material, but only one can win the $10,000 grand prize. Viewers also have a say in who gets the cash when they cast their digital votes for a $5,000 Viewer's Choice winner. Uncut, uncensored and unbelievably funny, find out who will laugh last. The series finale airs Friday July 1 at 9 pm ET.
The finale tapes Thursday June 23 at 8 pm at The Second City in Toronto. Tickets are available from The Second City for $10 with all proceeds going to Gilda's Club.
