Trish will be Making the Rounds All Over T.O. this Weekend
Trish will be signing autographs, walking the red carpet, running her first race, and gettin’ her funny on this weekend.
Trish will be at the Paradise Toronto Comicon Saturday, June 9th from 11AM-1PM.
Later that day, Trish will join "eTalk" on the Red Carpet at Canada's Walk of Fame at the Hummingbird Centre. This years show is hosted by Eugene Levy, who when asked of his hosting duties this year joked, “I don’t know why they asked me to host this year, I have no wrestling experience whatsoever”. Want to be at the Red Carpet? For free tickets to the Red Carpet call 1-866-460-4797 or email etalkredcarpet@ctv.ca. The show will be broadcast on Sunday June 10 at 6:30 PM, beginning with special eTalk red carpet coverage. Check your local listings for details.
Trish will be participating in’ The Second City That Never Sleeps’, a fundraiser that benefits The Therapeutic Clown Program at Sick Kids, a program that showed Trish just how much a smile means to a child. Over twenty years ago, The Therapeutic Clown Program helped give a smile and kept her sister’s spirits up during a hospital stay. The 24-hour improv-a-thon features live music, raffles, celebrity challenges, and silent auction. At The Second City That Never Sleeps, a core team of dedicated performers will participate in a 24-hour improv marathon. Along the way, they’ll be joined by Second City alumni, “unplugged” musical acts, guest ensembles and celebrity and VIP visitors and performers. The Second City That Never Sleeps has been produced at the Chicago theatre for five years and two years at the Toronto theatre. Between the two cities, they have raised over $100,000 for children’s charities. Tickets are $20 and offer the ability to stay as long as one wishes, with seats being re-sold as patrons leave. Starting June 10th at noon, to June 11th at noon. For more information check out The Second City website.
To round out the weekend Trish will put in some personal time and will attempt a 10K race. It is her first race, but knowing Trish she’ll put in 110% and cross that finish line feeling Stratusfied!
