Trish to Attend 'The Second City That Never Sleeps' Benefit Event
Many comics keep weird hours, but this weekend they'll be weirder than usual. The Second City is presenting The Second City That Never Sleeps, the second annual 24-hour improv marathon to raise funds for the Therapeutic Clown Program at Sick Kids Hospital.
Confirmed guests include the ubiquitous Colin Mochrie, former WWE champ Trish Stratus, comics Seán Cullen and Pat McKenna, TV host George Stroumboulopoulos, the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical and – just back from his trip to Calgary, where he missed T.O.'s opening Luminato fest ceremonies – Mayor David Miller.
Look for other surprise guests, both comic and musical, to drop by between Sunday (June 10) at noon and Monday at noon. For more info about the Therapeutic Clown Program, which brings laugher to sick kids (think Patch Adams, except funny), call 416-813-6629.
