BREAKING: Trish to team up with Tiffany Stratton at Elimination Chamber
A tag team match was made for Elimination Chamber on March 1st in Toronto.
Trish Stratus will team up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to face Nia Jax and Candice LaRae. This announcement follows Stratus coming to Stratton’s aid during the February 14th edition of SmackDown! – a surprising turn of events for many fans... or was it?
Stratus and Stratton’s history dates back to Money in the Bank last July when Stratus hosted the event in Toronto. During the show, she had an exchange with Stratton moments after winning the briefcase, offering her advice on how to avoid being a flash in the pan.
Fast forward several months later, Stratton successfully cashed in on her opportunity on Nia Jax to become the WWE Women’s Champion. Since then, Jax and her newfound friendship with Candice LaRae have been a thorn for Stratton. Stratus experienced firsthand the impact of that duo when she entered #25 in the women’s Royal Rumble match, where they cost her the chance to headline WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Stratus and Stratton will aim to make more history when "Tiffy & Trishy Time" takes place at the Rogers Centre.
