Fan Encounter From Stratus Signing at Best Buy #2
Also, sending in his encounter & photos...is Tim.
Hey this is Tim from Chicago, IL and big time fan of Trish Stratus. I just wanted to say even through all the harsh weather for about two and a half hours that it was completely worth it. I don't think I would have waited that long for anything else besides meeting Trish.
Well the story goes, while I was deeply anticipating a few of my friend's releases from school I was thinking about meeting Trish the whole day. I really wish we would have gotten to the Best Buy sooner because if that was the case I wouldn't have needed a jacket so badly and the wait probably would have felt a lot faster. Luckily for my trusty Star Wars shirt I got the message I wanted later that day. So anyway, during the wait a few friends sort of ditched my best friend and myself which made me upset because while they were in the warmth of another store me and my buddy were practically freezing to death. I'll be holding that grudge for a while. Anyway, as the time grew nearer and we made it into the Best Buy I started to feel like I was going to faint. I was extremely nervous and was telling my friend to make sure I didn't fall over or anything. Every time I tried to look for Trish there would be someone standing in my way and I became even more nervous with every step I took.
Finally! the time came and I was next in line trying to think of what to say with just a few seconds left to Stratusfaction. lol. I walked up to Trish and Torrie practically shaking and praying that I wouldn't say anything to make me look dumb and sort of nervous near the hulking bodyguard of theirs who practically towered me but Trish made me a lot less nervous with the comment about my Star Wars shirt and how she liked it. I have to say I still feel starstruck this very moment because Trish has to be possibly the nicest person I have ever met in my life with the little time I had with her. Torrie was very nice as well although I didn't realize she had her dog with her at the time until my friend told me because I was fixated to Trish. In the middle of the signing I asked Trish to write down with her signature "To the love of my life" and I didn't think she would because the guard disagreed with it but she did anyway! She said she would because she liked my t-shirt and it made me the happiest person in the entire world!
After the signing returning to my friends waiting for me I felt like I was going to faint again from joy and how nice of a person Trish had been to me and as I said before, I'm still starstruck to this very moment and I had framed the magazine that was signed as soon as I got home. Thanks a lot Trish!!!
