Trish Stratus wows at City Couture event
Trish Stratus turned heads in a blush pink tulle number from fashion boutique BLK Sheep Clothing as she walked the red carpet at the City Couture event in Toronto.
The evening, presented by Living Luxe Magazine, was filled with fashion and home design in support of SickKids. Guests were treated to a gourmet dinner by renowned chef Mark McEwan. A fashion show featuring Canada's top designers was presented at The Fermenting Cellar. The runway wound around an exhibition of Toronto's top luxury home design brands.
But the real star came from the powerful stories shared by a SickKids family and the Emcee, Canadian fashion icon Jeanne Becker. The funds raised from the evening will go directly toward a new, first-in-Canada Cellular Therapy Facility where SickKids will harness the power of the immune system by using a patient's own cells to fight diseases like cancer.
"What a special evening to be a part of. The stories were touching and hit close to home, reminding us of the importance of the cause and the real people behind them," said Trish, who has attended many SickKids-supported events throughout the years. "The SickKids Foundation will always have a special place in my heart after the care they provided to my sister and our family many years ago."
On top of the exceptional evening events, guests were treated to the annual tree-lighting ceremony at The Distillery Historic District, making it an evening to remember!
