Team Bestie rocks Chicago
Wrestling fans flocked to the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) and were left extremely stratusfied.
Those in attendance were treated to a special panel featuring Trish Stratus & Lita, with legend Mick Foley playing honorary member of Team Bestie. The panel titled "You Know, It Used To Be Called WWF" was the first to kick off the weekend, and it was filled with fun fan questions and off-the-record chatter.
Aside from the Q&A, thousands attended the 3-day event for their chance to meet the WWE Hall of Famers up close.
The city of Chicago is no stranger to Trishtory. TrishStratus.com spoke to several fans on sight, who all reminisced about the time The Windy City hosted WrestleMania 22, where Trish took on Mickie James in the infamous Women's Championship match that some say stole the show that night. Others recalled their encounter from a Best Buy autograph signing that same weekend. (PHOTOS)
"I met Trish in 2006 and we recreated the same pose from our photo 16 years later," Scott of Springfield, IL said.
The besties weren't the only wrestling stars on hand. Former WWE Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi were in the house along with newest WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker. In addition, AEW stars Danhausen and hometown hero CM Punk made appearances.
