Trish Stratus brings back classic look for WWE live event
The WWE Universe in Toronto and Kitchener were left Stratusfied this past weekend with 2 shows on the Road to WrestleMania.
Toronto was treated to a rare sighting by the WWE Hall of Famer. Trish Stratus brought back her classic 2000 look! Vintage Stratus kicked off the show by joining Kevin Owens in the ring, strutting her way to the ring, complete with boots, jacket, skirt, and cowboy hat.
But that was only half of the story. Days leading up to the weekend events saw smack talk between Trish and Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch that included Lynch being stopped at the border – thanks to Trish. That Twitter war boiled over to physicality, with Trish getting the best of "Big Time Becks" with the help of Rhea Ripley on both nights.
And last but not least, just days before Kevin Owens welcomes Stone Cold Steve Austin as his guest on the KO Show at WrestleMania 38, he united with Trish for what they called a special edition of the Trish and Kevin Owens Show, which was dubbed 'The TKO Show'. At one point, the sold out crowd in Toronto burst into a "T-K-O" chant.
A treat of a weekend going into the last week before WrestleMania. Especially for Austin Theory, who finally got a selfie worth keeping snapping a pic with the hostess with the mostest Trish Stratus.
This was the first time Trish performed in front of the WWE Universe since battling Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019. By all accounts, she had a blast.
"It was so much fun," said Trish. "The adrenaline rush walking through that curtain is like no other. I got to check off a few more things on my bucket list this weekend! Plus, putting Becky Lynch in her place was a nice bonus – cause let's be honest, we all know she's a bit of a brat!"
