Ivory named to the WWE HOF

Ivory is the latest name to join Goldberg and The Dudley Boyz in this year's WWE Hall of Fame class.

Lisa Moretti began her career in 1986 with GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). In 1999, she signed on with WWE under the name "Ivory" and made her debut as a valet for Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown.

She eventually became more active in the ring and would later join the group "Right to Censor" led by Steven Richards. Her most memorable rivalry was with the late Chyna that cumulated to a match at WrestleMania 17.

While Ivory and Trish Stratus never were involved in a dedicated storyline, she both faced off and teamed with Trish numerous times in the ring.

Ivory will forever be linked to Trish in history as the one Trish pinned when she captured her first-ever Women's Championship in 2001. Also, a fun nugget: Trish debuted her "Stratusfaction" finisher on Ivory in a singles match prior to that event.

"Lisa (Ivory) always brought out my best," Trish said. "She was with me in the early years and I'll always be thankful for how helpful and patient she was while I was developing my skills. We didn't have too much history in the ring, but outside of the ring we have always been great friends, one that has remained post wrestling. It's about time she took her place in WWE's Hall of Fame!"

In 2015, both Moretti and Stratus were honored by Masters of Ring Entertainment during their Women in Wrestling Fan Expo.

This April joins Trish as a member of WWE's Hall of Fame, which will take place during WrestleMania weekend.
