The mayors of Dudleyville join Trish in the WWE HOF
It was announced Monday that the Dudley Boyz are a part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2018.
"Innovators in the industry, they never failed to entertain the fans," Trish said. "Good guys or bad guys, the crowd was always with them. A well deserved placement by two men I am proud to call my friend, two sports entertainers who changed the landscape of the tag team division."
Bubba Ray and D-Von are one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history. From their journey in ECW to WWE to TNA, among others, they've won a combined 23 tag team championships.
Fans will remember Trish's infamous interactions with Bubba and his infatuation with her character. The story would ultimately lead to a big break-out moment for Trish when she was powerbombed through a table from the top rope by Bubba. That moment earned the respect of both her fans and co-workers. Later in her career, Trish teamed up with Bubba on several occasions with one time being a double title match in her hometown of Toronto where she became a 2-time Women's Champion.
The Dudley Boyz induction into the WWE Hall of Fame will take place during WrestleMania 34 weekend in New Orleans.
