WWE personalities give their Royal Rumble picks
WWE.com recently caught up with many of WWE's greatest personalities from over the years to get their thoughts on this Sunday's Royal Rumble.
Jimmy Hart:
I'm going with Trish. I know she's just the referee, but I think the winner will be whoever she wants to win.
Chris Jericho:
Mickie's got a little bit more experience and she's psycho, but Ashley won the Diva Search, and that's no easy thing. It's not easy eating that many hot dogs. I think Ashley is hot, so I'm going to vote for her. And Trish better make sure to read the rulebook because I know it's hard to be a referee. And what happens if Mickie James breaks Rule No. 75 part B and Trish doesn't know about it? She could lose her referee's license.
Kevin Nash:
I hope Ashley wins because she's hotter.
Mr. Kennedy:
The way Mickie's been acting lately, I can see Trish not calling it down the middle as a way to get back at her. That chick's bizarre. I think Ashley will end up winning. She's got a nice head.
Mick Foley:
I look for the jealousy of Mickie James to be a distraction causing Ashley to score a quick victory.
The Miz:
Now, I feel like Mickie has been getting on Trish's nerves, here. Call me crazy, but I think she’s getting on everyone's nerves lately. I'm a reality TV person, so I have to go with reality person in RAW Diva Search winner Ashley.
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan:
I'll go with Mickie. She seems to be obsessed with Trish and has a lot of focus. With all that focus, she'll be hard to beat. I think Ashley will just be a speedbump for her.
Howard Finkel:
This match will be interesting. I think Mickie has an agenda, and she may feel she still needs to prove herself to Trish. Will she be wrestling for herself, or wrestling to in fact prove something more to Trish? She's shown she can get it done in there, and Ashley's inexperience in the ring is certainly a factor as well. But, one has to wonder if Trish will call it down the middle. Personally, I think she will.
Ron "Farooq" Simmons:
There ain't no losers in that! Every guy watching that match is thinking the same thing: everybody wins!
Christopher Nowinski:
Trish as a Zebra will be in control, and I think she has a game plan.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund:
The fans are going to be the winner in this one between Mickie and Ashley. I've got to go with Ashley only because she's got the expertise of champion Trish Stratus behind her. I think that's going to be the deciding factor this Sunday night. The fans, though, are going to be the real winners; you've got a couple of "lookers" here.
