Tickets didn't last long after Trish announced that Gridlocked would be having its Canadian premiere at the After Dark Film Festival in Toronto.
The film, described as DIE HARD meets ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 is a crowd-pleasing throwback to 80s and 90s action movies. A group of deadly mercenaries led by Stephen Lang (Avatar) attack a police facility with a sinister ulterior motive. It's up to a hardened officer (Prison Break's Dominic Purcell) and his sidekicks that include Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon) and WWE star Trish Stratus to repulse the invaders using every weapon at their disposal.
The screening which will take place Tuesday, October 20th at 9:30pm at the Scotiabank Theatre, 259 Richmond St. West, Toronto is sold out, however, fans can still get a chance to attend the premiere by joining the Rush Line at the venue which will form one hour before the movie starts. After an empty seat count, a few minutes before the show, any spare tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
TrishStatus.com can confirm Trish will be in attendance along with her co-star Cody Hackman. The duo will be available beforehand for media opportunities and will take part in a Q&A session following the screening.
