Immediately after defeating Mickie James at New Year's Revolution, Women's Champion Trish Stratus sat down with WWE.com. Before the interview could begin, Mickie James came in and joined the Women's Champion for the interview. Here is what they had to say:
WWE.com: After everything you and Mickie have been through, do you believe there was anything more to that kiss?
Trish: I'm not really sure what this whole kissing business...
Mickie: Oh my god, I said last week I didn't want anybody to take that the wrong way. It was just a harmless kiss in the Holiday spirit.
WWE.com: How do you prepare for an opponent such as Mickie who seems to idolize you in every way?
Trish: Well, I know that she's a hell of an athlete...
Mickie: Well thank you!
Trish: The interesting thing is that she seems to have studied my every move...
Mickie: I've been watching your every move forever! Did you see my Mick Kick? I know it didn't hit but your Chick Kick sure did.
WWE.com: You�ve been Women�s Champion for a year now; who are you looking at as your next potential opponent?
Trish: Anyone who wants a crack at me, I'm willing to deliver some Stratusfaction!
Mickie: What about me Trish?
Trish: Sure, I'll Stratusfy you again!
Mickie: Awesome! (giggles)
Trish: Uh, nevermind.
WWE.com: You and Lita have always been rivals� Would you consider it a dream match to face her at WrestleMania 22?
Mickie: How many times do you have to beat Lita? You've beat her a gazillion times already!
Trish: That was harsh. Like I said, anyone who wants a crack at me is more than welcome. I'll take her on any time, it doesn't have to wait until WrestleMania 22. Whether it be Lita, or Mama Benjamin or whoever, I'm ready for whoever's next.
WWE.com: Any last words for the fans?
Mickie: I'm just glad me and Trish were really able to connect out there and give the fans what they wanted to see. And Trish, you are the greatest Women's Champion ever.
Trish: Yes, I am. I'll just say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but winning is better. I'm glad everyone was Stratusfied.
