Fan Forum Five: Round two
Your questions have been answered!
Earlier this week we caught up with Trish and sat down with the mama-to-be for another edition of Fan Forum Five. We got some great questions and if you didn't see your question answered for this round, not to worry, we bank all the questions and yours may still have a chance to be answered in our next round! If you have a new question, be sure to leave that for our team at the end of the article. You never know which question we're going to ask Trish next!
Enjoy!
Q: Was there a storyline that you participated in that required a change of plans from its original goal? -Tory
A: The biggest storyline that changed from its original goal, not that it was a required change exactly – but it was a Vince call, happened right at the last minute actually. During the storyline with Chris Jericho and Christian, everything had built up to me returning at WrestleMania 20 to be by the side of Chris Jericho, and along with the WWE Universe both Chris and I were anticipating to ride off into the sunset following WrestleMania as WWE's newest Babyface couple. We even had a name for us – Trishtopher! However, Vince had a thought to flip this storyline onto it's head and as you may recall at WrestleMania, you were introduced to the Badass Heel Trish Stratus. And what a run that turned into! That's why they call Vince a genius, he has those gut feelings and usually they work out for the better!
Q: With the success of Stratusphere Yoga, have you considered opening more studios? in the States? -Ruben Juarez (@rubenjuarez08)
A: Good question. Expanding Stratusphere would be great, be it within the GTA, in Canada or across North America. Expansion, however, does take some strategy and some market study. Certainly anywhere that has familiarity with the Stratusphere brand through the distribution of our equipment would be a potential hit. If you feel your hometown would be a potential hit, I'd like to hear more about it!
Q: If you were ever asked would you do Dancing With The Stars? -Larry Barr (@barrman)
A: I get asked this a lot, and I dare I say, I think I would kill it! I love taking on new challenges and that's what this show presents, so I would definitely consider it. Mostly for my mom though, she really feels that if me and Derek Hough were partnered up, we would rock that dance floor.
Q: Do you have one specific place that you visited during your time with the WWE that is most memorable to you? -Jackie (@JackieFederati1)
A: To be honest, each spot had its own uniqueness. Getting to travel the globe you see so many unique sites. Now this may come with a bit of a bias given the WWE Hall of Fame induction, but being in the spotlight at Madison Square Garden was truly special. When you consider just how many events have taken place there, between wrestling, hockey, basketball, boxing and countless concerts, it truly was amazing to have my induction take place there. It always amazes me to think I've performed in the same arena as Muhammad Ali or stood in the same spot where Mark Messier brought the Stanley Cup back to Broadway.
Q: Was there anything else you were interested in studying at college other than biology and kinesiology? -Cian (@stratusfyaloud_)
A: I was always a bit of a science nerd growing up and I had dreams of becoming a doctor since I was a little girl, so my interests were always in the science field. Initially I chose to major in Biology only and specialize in genetics. Eventually I pursued a double major of biology and kinesiology. I was active outside the classroom as well, playing for my University's varsity field hockey team.
