Trish hits the runway for the closing show of Toronto Fashion Week

The Dare to Wear Love 3 will take place under the tents at Toronto Fashion Week on March 16th, 2012 as the Closing Night Gala of Fashion Week. Trish is one of the celebrity models who will be strutting their stuff for this special event that showcases the talents of Canada's top fashion designers. Filled with amazing dancers, musicians – this is a party that is not to be missed!

The event was created by asking 24 of Canada's top fashion designers to create an outfit using 6 yards of African cloth. Each of the models will have a piece of this cloth incoroporated into their dress which has been created specifically for them. Trish has been paired up with Choryin Choi, the man behind "Cydelic by Choryin", an artistic luxury brand of clothing and accessories.

Funds raised at this event help to turn the tide against HIV and AIDS in Africa through the support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) works with community-level organizations in Africa, providing care and support to women, orphans, grandmothers and people living with HIV and AIDS. Since 2003, they have funded over 700 initiatives, partnering with 300 community-based organizations in the 15 African countries hardest hit by the pandemic.

"I'm thrilled to have been asked to take part in this event that supports the fashion community in their effort to make a difference," said Trish about her participation in this years Dare to Wear show.

This isn't the only part of of Toronto Fashion Week that is stratusfied this year, Stratusphere is one of the World MasterCard Fashion Week featured sponsors this year.
