Toronto Star: Where do we sign up?
By Bill Harris
Get ready for a stampede of guys signing up for yoga.
Former wrestler and current TV personality Trish Stratus has established her own yoga studio, appropriately dubbed Stratusphere. An open house will be held today, located in The Village at Vaughan Mills, 255 Bass Pro Mills Drive.
"I practise every day and I got my (teaching) certification, but I'm not going to be teaching right away, because we have some senior teachers who really are fabulous," Stratus said. "I'm kind of selfish because I still want to be in the back, just learning from these people. But after a while I'll put in some 'Stratusfaction' classes here and there."
Stratus also has been filming a new travel TV series -- also called Stratusphere -- that will air on the Travel channel and Discovery HD late this summer.
"I'm travelling all over the world, kicking ass," Stratus said with a laugh. "Well, that's kind of a loose definition. But it's a perfect fit."
