The WWE Hall of Famer, who has been in the performance industry for over two decades, will bring her eye to the panel in hopes of finding the best Canada has to offer.
"I'm so excited to be joining this iconic brand and seeing the incredible talent Canada has to offer," said Trish. "And of course, when I spot it – dropping that elbow on The Golden Buzzer!"
Joining Stratus is AGT anchor and fellow Canadian Howie Mandel, rapper Kardinal Offishall, and long-time YouTube star Lilly Singh. Country songwriter Lindsay Ell rounds out the cast as the host.
Canada's Got Talent made a brief appearance in 2012 after just one season. Show creator Simon Cowell is excited about the show's revival.
"We've seen so many talented people from Canada over the years, and we always said we've got to make this show again," Cowell told Variety. "I am so excited 'Canada's Got Talent' is returning and believe it will be an amazing experience. I would like to personally thank Citytv for giving the show and all of the contestants this opportunity."
Cowell has served as a judge on "Britain's Got Talent" and "America's Got Talent" for several years, and it is said he will have some on-screen involvement in the Canadian edition as well.
