Trish has surgery to repair injured ankle
Trish Stratus is getting a well deserved rest from the WWF, but it isn't exactly the kind of rest she wanted.
Trish had surgery August 2nd to remove a bone chip from her ankle. She will be out of action for about two weeks, but is hoping to be ready to go by then.
"I hurt my right ankle at home in Toronto while I was training," says Trish, who is currently sporting a cast. "I gotta tell ya, it hurts a little, but I'll be okay. The surgery went very well, and I was lucky they removed the chip rather than having to screw it back in, hence a shorter recover time."
Trish says that everyone at the WFF has been incredibly supportive.
"Everyone has been really great," says Trish. "All the girls have called me up and it's been awesome!"
