Stratusphere shows Mo Love
As the end of November rolls around so does the end of mustache growing season. To conclude a month long of fundraising for Movember, Stratusphere Yoga Studio is holding a Yogathon Saturday, December 1. Starting at 9:30 am participants will have a chance to experience the high caliber of teaching and the variety of styles that Canada's largest yoga studio has become famous for. This donation based day is a great way to get a taste of the 7-time champion Trish Stratus' studio while raising funds for men's health issue. Participants must pre-register by calling or signing up here and selecting the classes of their choosing. Amongst the eleven class offerings is hot yoga, pre/post natal, pilates, beginners, intermediate and advanced sessions. Also included are specialty classes like Trish Stratus' Stratusphere Yoga (bring your FitGloves!) and Michael DeCorte, founder of Jock Yoga brings his hardcore athletic style to the day as well! Check out the schedule here.ONE coconut water is sponsoring the event by providing the hydration throughout the day. Also, light snacks and fruit will be served to keep students fueled throughout the day.
All participants will have a chance to be entered into a Movember draw valued at over $300.

As the month raises awareness for men's health issues, it's nice to see community events that not only raise funds and awareness, but educates on the importance of taking preventative measures and taking control of one's health. The studio has seen a rise in its male demographic, presently it offers a 60/40 ratio of women to men. The recent success and positive response of Stratusphere Yoga for Men is proof more and more men are taking responsibility for their own good health. If anyone can influence men to take the right steps to wellness, Trish Stratus certainly can!
