Mid-day Show Recap
Trish made several stops at radio stations across Edmonton to promote Maximum Fighting's upcoming event. This was her first appearance:
- Host Mike McGuire says his prayers have been answered since Trish joined him in the studio.
- He talks about wearing his fancy suit just for her.
- Why is Trish Stratus in Edmonton? She heard he was dressing up and had to come see it. But then she gave her real reason which is to judge MFC's Ring Card Girl Finals.
- She doesn't have the experience with the card itself and says she'll be getting a crash course later on.
- She gives out "lobster" for the show's tropical word of the day.
- The host wants to know if she will be his valentine? Before answering, Trish wants to know if he has any gifts for her, which he does. It wins her over and she says yes!
- She loves dollar stores. She's addicted.
- As a wrestling fan, the host talks about her send-off from Unforgiven 2006. He says if he was Vince McMahon the last thing he would do would be give the belt to someone unless they deserved it. Trish says she still looks back at it and is amazed over it. She actually had alot of say in the match.
- Will she come back? Never say never. It would have be to something great, such as Beth Phoenix (whom she thinks is fantastic) calling her out.
- True or false: She's missing a knuckle? True. She talks about smashing it against Victoria's head. She was concerned for Victoria because of the pain but surprisingly she didn't feel anything. The doctors wanted to put pins in it to bring it back up but she preferred to keep it because its a cool story.
- What to say to people who want to be like Trish Stratus? Focus on a goal and go after it.
- Leafs or Oilers in the playoffs? Trish giggles.
- Who will take it this year? She hasn't been keeping up with hockey due to her yoga studio, building yet another house and doing a new travel show. Since her leafs began sucking she lost interest.
- The interview ends with her MFC appearance being plugged.
