Royal Rumble results
Anything can happen in the Royal Rumble, and that was certainly true when the WWE Hall of Famer entered her second Royal Rumble match at #25, giving her the chance to main event WrestleMania 41.
As her music hit, the roof of Lucas Oil Stadium blew off, per Pat McAfee on commentary. Trish made her way to the ring with a familiar look that paid homage to her debut 25 years ago. Once in the ring, she was quickly confronted by Natalya. After Trish delivered the Air Canada, Candice LeRae dragged her away, leading to a Chick Kick from Trish. Former TNA star Jordynne Grace then got involved, blocking Trish’s attempt at a Stratusfaction. However, Trish managed to take down both Grace and LeRae with a double bulldog off the top rope.
At #29, Nia Jax entered the fray. Despite the size difference, the 7-time Women’s Champion didn’t back down. While the two faced off, LeRae attempted to eliminate Trish from behind, but Trish reversed the maneuver, sending LeRae to the outside.
Trish’s chances of going to WrestleMania were quickly hindered when she was eliminated by Jax with LeRae’s help.
