Trish attends star-studded 'Take Off, Eh' fundraiser
Trish Stratus was in attendance Tuesday night supporting a star-studded comedy fundraiser at Toronto's Second City Mainstage.
The all-star event hosted by Martin Short included Dave Thomas, Rick Moranis (Honey, I Shrunk The Kids), Eugene Levy (American Pie and Schitt's Creek) and Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters) with music performances from Paul Shaffer, Ian Thomas and Murray McLauchlan. Sketches included a reunion of SCTV's Bob and Doug MacKenzie, Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara revived their SCTV characters Lola Heatherton and Bobby Bittman singing a Canadian medley and Dan Ackroyd's famous Elwood Blues hit the stage with the General Motor Moan.
Trish had a chance to catch up with her fellow performers and reminisce on past work.

"It's amazing to see the almost family bond that has formed and connected these performers. The fact that they all joined forces for this once in a lifetime event bringing all these legends to one stage for a cause held dear to one of them is amazing. I feel like we would see that same sort of family camaraderie from the WWE family", says Trish, an honorary Second City alum after working with Second City on a number of projects. "To see all these icons gathering on stage was surreal... and hysterical! What a night!"
$325,000 was raised by the Take Off, Eh fundraiser that was put together by Dave Thomas in support of Spinal Cord Injury Ontario with the proceeds going towards his nephew's road to recovery, who sustained a spinal cord injury last January while snowmobiling, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.
