My thoughts on the new Women's Championship title & some words for the WOMEN wrestling at WrestleMania 32
And she's back! So go get it girls, this is what you (we) have been fighting for. No matter the outcome, you all will be in the history books for restoring the integrity and credibility of the WOMEN's DIVISION. The ladies of the Diva's division paved the way for you – this is something I'm sure they would have wanted, but regardless, they fought just as hard and had matches that matter just as much as the ones will moving forward.
To Charlotte, Becky and Sasha, tonight is your night – you all earned this, you fought hard fueled by passion and you did this together – this is bigger than one person, it represents so much more. You have all earned the right to be called a women's wrestler, be role models, and be viewed for what you are – professional athletes.
In a way the slate is clean to me tonight – they are not fighting for the Divas Championship, they are fighting for the Women's Championship – new game, no advantages, no defending – just three athletes fighting towards the same goal. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention, this has shades of our six-pack challenge when the Women's Championship was brought back and six of WWE's finest women at the time fought to become the Women's Champion of the newly formed division. We ushered in a new era, we had the task of making a division mean something again and proving that we belonged in the ring and that our division belonged next to our male counterparts. We were given the ball and told to run. Tonight feels the same... I'm sure each girl is feeling the same magic in the air, the unmistakable support from the WWE Universe and most important, as we six did that night back in 2001, I'm sure these ladies know the whole is greater than the sum of its parts – these ladies are the women's division and together no matter the outcome, they have already made the women's title mean something again.
Tonight we will watch 3 competitors #DoItWithFlair, deliver some #LassKickings and #BankOnIt - we will have a new Women's Champion. #4H #Bayley #WomensChampionship #WomensRevolution
