Autographed cards, to start with, are rarities. Depending on the product, autographs as a whole are much harder to find in a package of cards, commonly as little as one in a 24 or 36 pack box. Given the number of autographs in each product, a Trish Stratus autograph becomes a real rarity very quickly, and given her popularity, doesn't come up for sale or trade regularly.
"Trish is an icon. Most of her top early autographs have made their way into personal collections already so many of these don't show up very often," says Ryan Cracknell, editor of Cardboard Connection, a leading website for hobby news.
There's an added cache that comes with purchasing these autographs from Trish, Cracknell continues. "The fact that these are coming direct from Trish adds some extra prestige to some already great cards. The better the story that's behind a collectible, the stronger the interest there is over time."
We're proud to announce today that these cards will be hitting the highways with Trish for the Team Bestie Tour.
Fans will get the unique opportunity to do a direct purchase from Trish during her upcoming stops on the tour. So if you've been curious to see these rare cards in person, this is your chance to not only see them for the first time, but to also pick them up before they disappear!
Also on tour is a newly released Team Bestie trading card that is available exclusively on the Tour. Each card which were produced specifically for the 2014 travels, will be personally autographed by the WWE Hall of Famers.
"I'm thrilled to offer fans something unique for the Tour," Trish said. "I love seeing the great items that fans bring to get signed and, being a collector myself, wanted to offer a special memento of my tour with Amy. We look forward to becoming part of card collections across North America in a once-in-a-lifetime way!"
