Fat-Free Banana Loaf
Fat-Free Banana Loaf
Wet:
- 3 egg whites
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 3/4 cup Splenda
Dry:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped or slivered (optional)
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a medium bowl, beat the egg whites, and add the remaining wet ingredients – mix thoroughly.
3. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
4. Then lightly blend all of the ingredients together, and pour the mixture into a loaf pan.
5. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out dry.
6. Let the loaf stand in the pan for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
