Enter the Stratusphere ... In Thailand!
For this weeks show, I travel to Bangkok,
Thailand where I did some Muay Thai training to
prepare for an exhibition match vs. Thailand's'
very own 'Great White Shark' ... seriously, that's
her name!
I trained with Peng Fairtex (Srichai Chanphen),
one of Fairtex top trainers at Bangplee,
Thailand. They focused on my strengths and accentuated my
style based on what they saw of me in WWE. I
must say they did a great job of kicking my butt
for the few days I was there!

This trip was pretty intense - just with the
travel alone to get from the Canada to the South
Pacific. And we pretty much just land and shoot
so we got right to it as I only had 2 days to
train for my match. I say 'days' but it
actually was nights. During the day we shot the
beautiful sites (and hundreds of Buddha's!),
then I would train in the evenings for 4-5
hours. Pretty grueling - but it's not like I
haven't kept a schedule like that before! Only
difference with this fight was it was a new
style for me so I had to modify the way ... I
deliver my Stratusfaction!
I don't want to give away too much, but for only
a couple of days of training ... I'm pretty
proud of the outcome – I had the war wounds to
prove it and I liked it! And, after the show, I
must say, I was bit by the bug; I guess as my
mentor Fit Finlay used to say, I too "Love to
fight!"
