Trish Stratus returns to Michigan con where it all started
Nearly 2 decades ago a young, up and coming fitness model appeared at her first convention and this past weekend Trish Stratus returned – and it felt like nothing had changed.
Hundreds flocked The Suburban Collection Showplace to see her for the one day appearance and she did not disappoint. Packed lines lasted throughout the day, many traveling from other states, one from as far as Texas, just for the chance to meet the WWE Hall of Famer.
TrishStratus.com spoke with a couple of fans who were there in 1999.
"I've been waiting 20 years for her to come back!," said a Michigander Stratuspherian. "When I saw she would be appearing, I couldn't pass up the chance to recreate our photo from the first time we met."
There were others who got the pleasure of meeting her for the first time.
"Meeting her was an honor," Doug Dawe of Warren, MI told TrishStratus.com. "She is one of the coolest, down-to-earth people i have ever met in my life – a 100% class act."
She was a hit then and Motor City Comic Con proved she still is now! Once again, Trish left the fans in Michigan stratusfied.
