Trish Stratus' fitness brand expands to American markets
Following months of planning and negotiations, Stratusphere announced today that, along with distributor Treadmill Factory, it will begin providing the array of Stratusphere yoga and fitness products into the U.S. market. The announcement was made official by company president Trish Stratus on Monday.
"This is huge for Stratusphere," Stratus said. "Over the years we've had a few items from my line like my FitGloves available to Americans but now the entire line and any further products we add will now be available to one of the biggest consumer markets across the globe."
The deal includes American distributor G&G Fitness, one of the premiere sources of fitness solutions in the United States, who will be the exclusive carrier of the Stratusphere product line in America through its online outlets. The list of items includes yoga mats, blocks and the newly released yoga strap.
The expansion of the Stratusphere brand into the U.S. represents a major milestone for Stratus, a former seven-time WWE Women's Champion and star of the upcoming motion picture Gridlocked. Since 2008, Trish and her team of experts have been offering workout programs to fitness enthusiasts through her yoga studio and DVDs. In 2011 Stratus launched her line of yoga fitness products to major retailers across Canada. A few of those items were made available worldwide through Stratusphere Shop, Trish's online store.
This announcement comes in at a perfect time as the holiday shopping season kicks off. Fitness goers south of the border can now get their stratusfaction through G&G Fitness, the official U.S. partner for Stratusphere.
