Trish spreads selfie for a good cause
Last week Trish took the #LoveThySelfiePledge and then took to social media to call on her Stratuspherians to support. Since the selfie campaign launched, that hashtag has achieved 84.5 million timeline deliveries on Twitter and Instagram and made almost 11 million impressions!
"Trish's support has truly blown the #LoveThySelfiePledge into the 'Stratusphere'," Hannah White from Kids Now told TrishStratus.com. "From the moment she came onboard, bringing her very genuine enthusiasm with her, our reach spiked beyond anything we could have anticipated. The response from her fans has been overwhelmingly positive as well, and it has been really fun to see all of their selfies. We could not be more grateful to have Trish backing our cause – we're definitely Stratuspherians now!"
The campaign launched by Kids Now, aims to encourage people to replace self-criticism with self-compassion. This message is a key part of the Kids Now program, a free after-school mentorship program for students in grades 7 & 8, designed to empower them to become confident, resilient youth so that they can transition into high school with greater ease and prepare for a brighter future. The funds, which will help Kids Now expand their programming to help more youth nationwide, will be generated from the number of selfies taken. State Farm is giving a $1 donation for each of the first 10,000 selfies posted.
Trish jumped in by posting this darling selfie of herself and Max:
