Heart & Stroke Foundation
In December 2008 Trish held a holiday fundraiser at Stratusphere where all the proceeds from yoga classes held that day were donated to The Heart & Stroke Foundation in addition to the contributions gathered during the evening event. Leading up to the event Trish reached out to her social networking community on her MySpace page and in under 2 weeks exceeded her $5000 goal – collecting a grand total of $5650. |

SickKids Foundation
Since 2006 Trish has participated in the annual Bell Canada puts on as part of their five-year commitment to SickKids Foundation that include $5 million in fundraising proceeds collected through the Annual Bell Celebrity Gala and Bell Celebrity Classic events as well as a $5 million corporate gift to be distributed over a five year period. The funds will be used to support projects in the hospital's emergency department, to enhance patient care and to enhance other high-priority needs that include improving the patient and family experience during emergency visits. |

Sports Celebrities Festival - The Special Olympics
Trish has been an active part of the Sports Celebrity Festival. She has appeared at the festival and has been highly supportive of The Special Olympics. Trish states that; "The Special Olympics are a great way to show the world how phenomenal these kids are. I'm honored to be a part of it." |

Easter Seals
Trish has been a feature sports superstar at the dinner, and has assisted in promoting the charity. She says; "I think it is wonderful that so many sports stars participate in this event, but the real stars of the evening are the Easter Seals Provincial Ambassadors, who are Easter Seals kids that are chosen to represent the organization for the year. It is truly inspiring to meet these kids and with the help of the help of the organization, see how much they can accomplish" |

Dreams Take Flight
Trish has acted as an escort for the children, traveling with them on a fun-filled day-long trip to Disney World. She laughs; "I had a great time with the kids. It was an exhausting day, especially for the kids. We started in Toronto, loaded up 2 planes then flew to Florida, had a day of fun at Disney World topped off with fireworks and flew back to Toronto - but these kids are getting to do what they have dreamed to do and I am proud to have been part of such a unique experience and share in their fun." |

Kevin Weekes Celebrity Charity Golf Classic
In 2009, Trish and a collection of celebrities traveled to the island of Barbados to participate in former NHL goalie Kevin Weekes Celebrity Charity Golf Classic. The weeklong festivities included a visit to the Phoenix Academy Barbados. The event raised $20,000 for youth charity, Sky's the Limit. |

Sunshine Games - Variety Village
Trish was this year's Celebrity Ambassador for the Sunshine Games. She hosted the celebrity breakfast, and helped promote the charity across Canada. Trish says; "I have worked with the Variety Village before and I am starting to get to know a lot of the kids personally, so when I was asked to be the Celebrity Ambassador for the Sunshine Games, an event that is the largest contributor to the Village, I was thrilled!. It is a fantastic event, and a lot of fun." |

Ronald McDonald House
The idea behind Ronald McDonald House is simple: provide a "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Some children have to travel great distances to get the medical attention they need. The Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable, supportive alternative for these children and their families. The children and their families of the Ronald McDonald House in New York City had their day brightened when they got to spend the day taking pictures and playing video games with WWE Champions Trish Status and Dave Batista. |

Cardiac Kids
Cardiac Kids is a volunteer group founded in 2000 to raise much-needed funds for children who are suffering from congenital heart disease. Every year, 8 out of 1000 children are born with congenital heart defects. Last year in Canada there were approximately 400,000 births, which means that in this country alone, approximately 3,200 children were born with some form of heart defect. |
